The eighth house also indicates sexual attitudes and behavior, your responses to life's mysteries and all matters to do with the end of life. 

Saturn In Aquarius Bordering Both House 8 (ruled by Scorpio) and House 9 (ruled by Sagittarius)-Saturn rules Karma and Responsibility. Aquarius is a Sign of Enlightenment and Humane Actions. It appears that Bret's Gift Of Enlightenment Would Be "Mixed" With The Sensual And Erratic Sign Of Scorpio. Bret Would Be A Person Inquisitive And A Researcher.

Venus In Aquarius In House 8-Venus is the Planet Of Emotions and Finances. With this association the Universe was saying that Bret Michael's Inquisitive (Researching) and Enlightening Manner Would Be Financially and Emotionally (Venus) Advantageous.

The Ascendant Is Cancer-The Ascendant Has A Very Strong Influence On The Person. Cancer Is The Sign Of Family and Security. Bret Michaels would be very concerned with his family. 

Pallas In Cancer In The First House-Aries is the Sign of Aggression and Rules The First Zodiac House. The First House Concerns Self Image. Pallas is the defender of women in struggle. At Bret Michaels' birth the Universe assigned Pallas to Bret's Family Sign (Cancer) and First House (Self Image). It appears that Bret would be concerned with protecting women (Pallas). Since Bret's Ascendant is already Cancer, it appears that the Universe caused the True Node to Retrograde ("pull back (turn off/limit)" its energies). The First House is ruled by Aries (Aggression). The First House concerns self image. The Second House is ruled by Taurus. Taurus is the sign of the Hard Worker. We really got to see (self image) Bret's Taurus on "The Apprentice". He works until he "falls out". Not Good Bret. This is one mistake diabetics and others with medical problems do. We'll talk about that later in this article. Bret must also be careful as he doesn't need this True Node Retrograde "slowing down" his finances (2nd House). 

Moon In Scorpio In House 5-We've already learned that Scorpio can be a stormy and erratic sign. House 5 is ruled by Leo. Leo is a Bold, organized, Grand and courageous sign. The Fifth House concerns Children, Pleasure and Creativity. The Moon influences the subconscious and emotions. I just checked to see if Bret had a Retrograde Planet In Scorpio. Yes he does. If not for that Retrograde planet ("holding back" energies), Bret would be a very Bold (Leo), Moody/Emotional (Moon) Erratic (Scorpio) who would be hard to get along with. 

True Lilith In Scorpio In House 5-Dark (Black) Lilith is the Dark Side Of The Moon. She Is The Protector. Based on other Natal Charts I viewed with Scorpio, the Universe placed Lilith here to also "control" Scorpio's Stormy energies. I'm also wondering if Bret ever wrote or performed "dark" songs. I'm assuming he did with Scorpio, Leo, The Moon, and Lilith in his 5th House of Creativity.

Neptune Retrograde in Scorpio In House 5-Neptune controls dreams and ideas. Neptune also rules Pisces. Pisces is the "Psychic" Sign. The Universe caused Neptune to Retrograde to protect Bret's dreams and subconscious from Scorpio's (and Pluto's) stormy, powerful, erratic energies. Now we know why Bret seems to be a pretty level-headed guy. 

Mars Retrograde In Leo In House 2-House 2 is ruled by Taurus. Taurus is the Sign of the Hard worker. House 2 concerns Financial Systems. Leo is the Sign Of Boldness. Mars is the Planet of Struggles. We noticed that the True Node was Retrograde In The Second House. Now we see that the Universe also caused Mars (the "Battle" planet) to Retrograde In House 2. It Appears That The Universe ensure that Energies that could lessen the energies of House 2 (Finances) were pulled back/limited (Retrograde). The Boldness of Leo is both "pulled back (limited)" by the Mars and Uranus Retrograde in the Second House. The Universe was ensuring that Bret's Lion (Leo) didn't "burn bridges" to his Second House (Taurus) of finances. 

Five Retrogrades To Control The Critiquing Energies Of Virgo And Gemini 

Virgo and Gemini are both Signs of emotional and critiquing energies. Nobody likes a chronic changer (Gemini) or complainer (Virgo). On the Day Bret Michaels was born. The Universe caused 2 Planets and 3 Asteroids to Retrograde to "pull back/limit" the powerful and critiquing energies of Virgo and Gemini. 

Pluto Retrograde In Virgo In House 3- House 3 is ruled by Gemini and concerns the house, job, health, mother siblings, transportation, mobility, communications (good or bad), contracts, nervous system, 3rd house of communication, writing, mental abilities, lower education from 1st to 12th grade, early learning, immediate environment, short journeys, local travel and travel within your own country. It also rules neighbors, siblings and extended siblings such as cousins, nieces and nephews. Pluto rules Scorpio. These are two very powerful and erratic entities. Mercury rules Virgo and Gemini. Virgo has strong "critiquing (criticizing)" energies. Gemini is a sign of conflicts and "bored quickly(s)". Notice that Mercury is in Bret's Sun Sign (Pisces). This powerful Pluto Retrograde was needed to lessen those "critiquing" energies and enhance Bret's Inspirational (Pisces) energies. 

Uranus Retrograde In Both Leo and  Virgo In House 3 (Ruled By Gemini) and House 2 (Ruled By Taurus)-I'm noticing that the Universe showed much concern for Bret's Finances (2nd House) by limiting any energies that could "rock the boat". The Universe also did this during the Birth of Conan O'Brien. I'm assuming that Bret and Conan would probably make good friends. Or at least very interesting acquaintances. 

Ceres Retrograde In Virgo In House 3 (Ruled By Gemini)-Ceres is the Motherly Nurturer of Adults. Virgo influences Health and Critical Analysis. I'm certain that Ceres is helping to heal Bret who was recently rushed to the hospital (April 2010). Ceres is also Retrograde to pull back any energies that could "rock the boat". 

Juno Retrograde In Virgo In House 4-House 4 is ruled by Cancer. Cancer is the Sign of Family and Protection. The Fourth House Concerns the family (especially father (Scorpio)), the mother, and/or the beginning and/or end of a cycle. Saturn or Scorpio in your fourth house is your Father, Libra or Venus in your fourth house is your Grandmother. Juno governs the role of women in covenant relationships. Juno is presently governing any females who are "covenantly (agreement or duty)" associated with Bret Michaels. This would include nurses and those in the medical profession. Juno is also Retrograde to "pull back/limit" any "explosive" energies. 

Vesta Retrograde In Virgo In House 4-Vesta governs personal sacrifice and commitment. Vesta sends energy to Bret's family and friends (Cancer) to place Bret at top priority. Vesta also retrogrades to "pull back/limit" "explosive" energies. 

Please keep in mind that Bret's Ascendant and True Node is Cancer. This is a perfect time for Bret to "get his 'Cancer'" on. 

We've examined the Natal (Birth) Chart For Bret Michaels. Now let's examine how people with legitimate ailments can support themselves. 

How People With Diseases Can Protect Themselves: 

1) Ensure That Those Who Expect Things From You Are Aware Of The Law-It's illegal to discriminate against or attempt to "force" such a person to fulfill obligations that they can't do.

2) Consult a medical attorney to assist you. Employers and whoever must be aware that you have a legal disease. 

3) Ensure that your Doctor fills out the necessary paper work. Often times, a person with a disease must "register" so that they can receive disability if the need arises 

4) Ensure that your Doctor "checks out your health" and visit him regularly. 

5) Be sure to use equipment to monitor your health and levels. 

6) Forget what anybody else says, NO WHEN TO SAY NO! Know yourself and  when to slow down and take care of yourself. 

7) Pray, Pray, Pray, because God can make a way. With out God and my Doctor, I would have been dead years ago. 

The Universe Loves Bret Michaels. He's got the Spirit to Overcome this situation. Let's keep Bret in our prayers and hope for his speedy recovery.
